Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is almost upon us and Treyarch has released a new video revealing some of the story we can expect. While we’re still not quite sure how this ties into past Black Ops titles, there is a pretty compelling plot here. Check it out below.
Players essentially take on the role of a futuristic Black Ops soldier who’s been outfitted with the latest in military technology. Upon embarking on a journey to discover the fate of your comrades, some pretty disturbing things come to light. Is one of your allies a traitor? Are some soldiers being forced to meld with machines? Are the machines taking over what’s left of humanity? Sure, it’s not the most original of storylines but it could be pretty cool.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on November 6th for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Be wary when purchasing the previous gen versions though – they come with multiplayer and Zombies but no story mode.
