If you’re looking to skip some of the grind of levelling up some of your weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, there’s some good news for you. Double weapon XP has gone live in the game, and will be live until November 19, which is tomorrow, till 10 AM PT. 2X weapon XP will, of course, be live in the game’s multiplayer and Zombies components- so not in the battle royale mode Blackout, then.

Interestingly enough, in the Twitter update where they announced this, Treyarch also teased something else, asking players to “get ready for a surprise later next week”. Nuketown recently went live for PS4 players, while we do know that Treyarch has plans for constant post-launch support for the game. It should be interesting to see what this “surprise” might be.

Last week, Treyarch released a patch for the game that brought about several significant changes. Read more on that through hereCall of Duty: Black Ops 4 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
