Nuketown is coming back. Treyarch recently revealed that the fan favourite map would go live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on November 13th. There will be changes, which we’re yet to fully know about, but that adds to the charm. However, Xbox One and PC players will have to wait – Nuketown is out on PS4 first, and one week later for other platforms.
The most recent tease seems to indicate that Nuketown will be set in Russia. According to a user replying to the tweet by the Call 0f Duty account, the Russian text accompanying the tease reads “Welcome back”, which feels apropos, given the map’s reputation. Currently, the only Nuketown that exists is in Blackout as part of the overall map. Suffice it to say that fans have been waiting for a multiplayer version as well.
Treyarch has plenty of post-launch plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It introduced the Black Market and Contraband Stream, along with a Halloween event for players to unlock cosmetics. Of course, these different Stream tiers can also be purchased with COD Points (acquired with real money), if you were so willing.
