Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Receives New Tease On Twitter

A new Call of Duty? I never saw it coming.

There’s going to be a brand new Call of Duty game this year. I know, you’re stunned. This unbelievable turn of events has been revealed to us thanks to a brand new tease posted in the last place anybody would look, the official Twitter for the series.

Ok, well, we already knew a lot about Call of Duty:Black Ops 4, since Activision hasn’t been pretending either. Treyarch is up to bat this year, and a blurry and noisy GIF was shared via the Call of Duty Twitter, which you can find below for yourself. Through the noise, it appears to show a figure loading their rifle, before that logo and the date May 17, suggesting more information about the game is just days out.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to launch on October 12, 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Despite rumours to the contrary, the title is not currently set for Nintendo Switch. A rumour that does have yet to be confirmed or denied is if Black Ops 4 is eschewing the single player campaign seen in the series up to this point.
