Call of Duty Black Ops 4

The Shamrock and Awe event is currently live for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Well, for PS4 players anyway. Xbox One and PC players will have to wait a week to earn those St. Patrick’s day cosmetics. Thankfully, the developer is offering something else – all of the Black Ops Pass multiplayer maps for free this weekend.

Starting today at 10 AM PT, players across all three platforms can access Elevation, Madagascar, Casino, and Lockup without having to own the Black Ops Pass. It’s a good way to sample these maps for yourself and decide if the pass is worth buying. The free trial period will end on March 18th.

Double XP weekend is also live during this period, allowing for increased XP progression in multiplayer and Zombies. Blackout will dole out double Merits, but perhaps the most enticing part is double tier progression on Black Market streams. This lets you unlock the rewards that much faster (especially in conjunction with the daily tier skips).
