Call of Duty Black Ops 6 - Multiplayer

Call of Duty NEXT came and went this week, with Treyarch and Raven Software providing updates on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. There’s been a new trailer for Liberty Falls, the second Zombies map, and details on what to expect from the upcoming multiplayer beta. However, Treyarch revealed an interesting bit about the Body Shield function in multiplayer.

Spotted in the multiplayer reveal trailer, it allows for taking an enemy player hostage and using their body as a shield (hence the name). Interestingly, voice chat is enabled between you and your victim, allowing for ample trash talk. Then again, maybe pleasant conversations about the weather will ensue. Anything is possible.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. Early access to the beta kicks off today for pre-orders and Game Pass subscribers, ending on September 4th. The open beta runs from September 6th to 9th.
