If you’ve ever stared at Riley, the AI dog companion in Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts (because lord knows there’s nothing better to do in the game) and wondered if he could be…furrier, then rejoice. Nvidia has released an update for the PC version of Ghosts which adds new PhysX changes and Fur Tech. Check out a video of Riley before and after the update to notice the difference.
This means that Riley’s fur will now dynamically react to surroundings and move about more realistically. Of course, it also applies to the enemy wolves you encounter and attack dogs used in multiplayer. Even AMD users will be able to access this feature, though the PhysX updates are exclusive to Nvidia cards.
Other changes include improved frame rate performance when on moving platforms, better latency on AMD cards, improved shader warming and level loading, crash fixes, additional animation for broadcaster mode and much. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know below.
