Infinity Ward developer Tina Palacios recently tweeted the following in relation to Call of Duty: Ghosts, which lends some hints to a Create-A-Class option (given all the Perk icons) for multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will have its multiplayer debut on August 14th, in which we’ll get our first look at the game’s competitive multiplayer modes. Infinity Ward has been rumoured to be including a Create-A-Class option, what with Battlefield 4 offering lesser restrictions for classes to use different weapons and items.

Could it simply be that new Perks will debuted instead? While it’s a given that there will be – though we doubt that there will be one to give Riley belly rubs as some on Twitter have asked – we’re hoping that Infinity Ward will give us a bit more bang for our buck.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently scheduled to release on November 5th worldwide for current gen (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) with next gen console versions expected later (although it may be a launch title for Xbox One).
