Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Video Reveals Zombies in Spaceland

Wait, what?

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies (5)

As per tradition, Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be receiving a new Zombies mode which Activision revealed today for Gamescom. And it’s…weird to say the least.

Dubbed Zombies in Spaceland, the new mode has a very 80s camp feel. The sci-fi elements of previous games have been removed and there’s pretty much every 80s cliche you can think of including characters that boil down to the Jock, the Nerd, the Rapper and the Valley Girl with actors like Seth Green, David Hasselhoff (who plays a strange DJ), Jay Pharaoh and more on-board.

Other unique elements include riding on a roller coaster and also making zombies dance with the new boombox bombs. And you thought Shadows of Evil was a huge departure from the series you loved.

Zombies in Spaceland will be showcased in greater detail tomorrow at 4 PM BST on the Call of Duty Twitch channel. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is meanwhile out on November 4th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
