The first Raid episode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Atomgrad, goes live on December 14th. It sees players teaming up in a co-op activity with combat and puzzle-solving. Check out the reveal trailer below.
The first episode of the Raid sees Captain Price, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick and Farah venturing into some unknown structure underground with a waterway. According to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, the flooded part is a water maze puzzle. Players will reportedly venture into a submarine base and share an oxygen tank to survive.
Raids were considered like “Destiny, but more tactical,” and an anonymous dataminer discovered that they take place on unique maps. There are three classes to choose from – Assault, Medic and Engineer – and it’s recommended to finish the Special Ops missions at three stars to fully level a kit before attempting the Raid. Dates for the remaining Raid episodes weren’t provided, so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
