Infinity Ward’s official worldwide reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is live. It features Task Force 141 embarking on a capture-or-kill mission, travelling the globe and teaming with Mexican Special Forces. Armored vehicles, helicopters, explosions, shooting upside down while dangling from a helicopter and much more can be seen. Check it out below.

The shooter’s Steam listing is also live, confirming the franchise’s return to the storefront after years. The “state-of-the-art gameplay’ will offer new gun handling, an advanced AI system, a new Gunsmith, and a suite of “other gameplay and graphical innovations that elevate the franchise to new heights.” Along with the single-player campaign and multiplayer, Special Ops returns for some narrative-driven co-op action.

Pre-purchasing nets early access to the open beta (with PS4 and PS5 receiving access five days earlier than other platforms). Along with the $70 Standard Edition, there’s the Vault Edition for $100 which includes the Red Team 141 Operator Pack with Ghost, Soap, Farah and Price; the FJX Cinder, the first Weapon Vault; the Season 1 Battle Pass with 50 Tier Skips; and early access to the open beta.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is out on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC on October 28th. Stay tuned for more gameplay tomorrow at the Summer Game Fest.
