Activision and Beenox have finally revealed the specifications for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC. At the very minimum, you’ll need an Intel Core i3-6100, Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8 GB of RAM. An Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470  with 2 GB VRAM is also required.

If you’re looking to play 60 FPS in most situations with all options set to High, then a Core i5-6600K, Core i7-4770, or Ryzen 5 1400 are necessary, along with 12 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 with 4 GB VRAM. Those playing competitively at a high frame rate with a high refresh rate monitor need an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 5700XT.

Finally, running the game at 4K with Ultra settings requires an Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT with 10 GB VRAM. In all cases, 72 GB of installation space is required. While the first three configurations require 32 GB of space for the high-resolution assets cache, Ultra 4K requires 64 GB. The option can be disabled in the settings, though.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches on October 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out the PC trailer here to see some of the settings included.
