Because this is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, digital consumers will have some bonuses available. Pay for the game on digital now and you’ll receive the XRK Weapons Pack for use on day 1. Check out the weapons and their fetching matte bronze finish below.
The weapons include the XRK M4 Assault Rifle and the XRK 357 Handgun. The former can use attachments that increase accuracy and stability while the latter provides some devastating stopping with fast fire-rates. Expect the XRK Weapons Pack to be available on physical pre-purchase as well.
We mentioned in the campaign gameplay reveal that Spec Ops Survival – not the entire Spec Ops game mode – will be timed exclusive content to PS4 players. That exclusivity period is until, no joke, October 1st 2020. We’ll have to wait and see what else Spec Ops mode has to offer but that’s a pretty hefty amount of gameplay cordoned off for Xbox One and PC players.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out on October 25th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Its recent multiplayer beta has done exceptionally well with Activision reporting millions of players over both weekends.
