Call of Duty sure is something. It’s been nearly 15 years since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare shot the series into the stratosphere financially and via pop culture. Here we are with a semi-reboot of Modern Warfare, and it’s trucking along as well as ever, as evident via the game’s digital launch sells.

As tracked by SuperData, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare had the biggest digital launch across consoles and PC with an estimated 4.75 million digital units. While this is down roughly 11% from the previous game in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, it’s worth noting that there were fewer days to the month for Modern Warfare due to a much later launch date in the month.

If you had any doubts the series was as strong as ever, there you go. It’s as big as it ever was, and it seems nothing can really stop that phenomena. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now, and you can also check out the mobile entry in the series, which is having a lot of success in its own right as well.
