Activision and Sledgehammer Games finally unveiled Call of Duty: Vanguard, confirming numerous rumored details like the number of multiplayer maps, special editions and the release date. There was initially some concern about the install size though – as insider Tom Henderson pointed out, it was apparently some 270 GB. Considering how bloated Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was, it was definitely a point of concern.
However, a quick look at the official Microsoft Store listing for the Xbox version reveals that only 75 GB is required. Again, as Henderson notes, this seems to differ based on one’s region (and can go up to 100 GB). It’s possible that 75 GB is only for the campaign while the full install containing everything, from Zombies and multiplayer to Warzone will result in a much higher install size.
Until the final requirements are revealed, we’ll have to wait and see. Call of Duty: Vanguard is out on November 5th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for further details in the meantime.

This has now been updated to say 75GB – 100GB depending on your region. The exact download size doesn't seem to be available yet… I'd imagine the 270GB size is something to do with Warzone. pic.twitter.com/3pf3hIfGHF
