Call of Duty WW2 Promotional Images Emerge – Rumour

Artwork and case images hint at next setting.

Apparently the next big Call of Duty title to come from Sledgehammer Games will be Call of Duty: WW2. This is according to some promotional artwork and case images that have leaked courtesy of Reddit user TwGNaywaoaLh.

What’s interesting about the overall leak is that the sub-Reddit mod says that it’s still being verified. Everything seems to be in order though and the user in question was apparently the one who leaked information regarding Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare before his account removal.

Some users in the thread claim the images resemble those from Saving Private Ryan, Steven Spielberg’s iconic World War 2 film, but no direct comparisons have been provided yet.

We know that Sledgehammer’s next Call of Duty title will feature more traditional combat as opposed to the past few outings’ futuristic settings. What are your thoughts on a return to World War 2 though? Let us know in the comments below.
