Available to those who pre-order.

Activision showcased the first gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: WWII, Sledgehammer Games’ next title in the franchise, and it looked pretty good. During the presentation, it was confirmed that a private beta for multiplayer would be coming later this year. This is in line with leaks that a private beta would be available for those who pre-ordered the game.

The reveal trailer looked interesting and featured “actual in-game footage” of the 1st Infantry Division’s journey through World War 2. Taking place through numerous locations entirely in the European Theater, Call of Duty: WWII will emphasize realism and authenticity.

Sledgehammer Games promises a return to the grounded, fast action that defined the franchise. “Great new innovations” to “elevate the player experience” have also been teased which we’ll learn more about later.

Call of Duty: WWII will be out on November 3rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the trailer? Let us know in the comments.
