Confirmed: THQ cancelled Avengers

Posted By | On 19th, Sep. 2011

Earlier we had posted a rumour about the pre-alpha footage of Avengers, but it’s been confirmed now that the game was in development and has been cancelled. Considering THQ’s financial position, the game could have brought a decent amount of money to them.

We really hate to say this but we have no idea why THQ cancelled the game. The game  was in development under THQ Australia and unfortunately has been cancelled now. The footage shows a lot of characters like Hulk, Iron Man and Super Skrull in first person destroying their enemies and it looked really good.

Check out the video above and tell us what you think in the comments section. Was cancelling the game the right thing to do? Let us know.

The footage was spotted in Reddit.
