Capcom Announces Remember Me with Trailer and “Memory Mix” Gameplay

GamesCom 2012 has begun and Capcom has kicked things off by recently announcing Remember Me, along with detailing the gameplay in the “Memory Mix” trailer.

Remember Me will be developed by Paris-based DontNod Entertainment, and is a third person action adventure game scheduled for release on the Playstation 3, XBox 360 and PC in May 2013.

You take on the role of Nilin, a so-called Memory Hunter who, went not destroying people’s bodies with her elite martial arts is breaking into their minds to steal or alter their memories.

Ironically, Nilin loses her memories, and the game details her journey to find out who she is, and maybe make a difference along the way.

The gameplay looks to be a variation of the Assassin’s Creed style of platforming and maneuvering, though the visuals are incredibly stellar, establishing a futuristic Paris setting with a noir-like detailing of shadows. Definitely something to look forward to come next year.
