Capcom Has “Major Title” Coming, Resident Evil 7 to Sell 2 Million More

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite pegged to sell 2 million.

In its recent earnings report, Capcom outlined its plans for the future. One of those includes shipping a “major title” as part of its Q3 Fiscal Year 2018 sales plan.

Resident Evil 7 and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite factor into this plan with the latter forecast to sell 2 million. However, even more interestingly is how the former is planned to sell 2 million copies. Capcom did delay the Not A Hero DLC for Resident Evil 7 and though it’s free, more DLC is also planned. Perhaps this paid DLC will be used to spur further sales for the first person survival horror.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is scheduled to release on September 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What could the “major title” be? Monster Hunter? Devil May Cry? We’ll out in the coming months, perhaps as soon as E3 2017 so stay tuned for more information in the meantime and let us know what you think.
