Is there any other company right that seems like it’s firing perfectly on all cylinders more so than Capcom? The Japanese publisher and developer is just hitting ever note just right, and the company’s most recent financials show that. While sales were down slightly, profit records were smashed.

In their most recent financial results, it was revealed that during the first nine months of FY2019 (which ended on December 2019), overall sales were down 13.6% year over year. While that seems like a big downside number, actual profits were up a massive 37.1%. That’s a record amount, the highest ever recorded in third quarter of a fiscal year. They point to increased digital sales for the upswing in profits, as well as strong sales in their current crop of major franchises, especially highlighting the huge success of Monster Hunter World.

Capcom is flying high, no doubt. The company will see the much anticipated remake of Resident Evil 3 hit April 3rd, also with rumors floating around they’re on the verge of revealing another major title soon.
