CastleStorm 2

More than seven years after the first game launched, Zen Studios has finally announced CastleStorm 2. Announced during IGN’s Summer of Gaming expo, it will release on July 31st for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC (via the Epic Games Store). Check out the gameplay trailer below.

Utilizing Unreal Engine 4, CastleStorm 2 will still feature tower defense and real-time strategy. You’ll ready catapults and troops to fight back against the Undead and protect the Kingdom. Two story campaigns are included with a variety of heroes at your beck and call as you take control and fight back against foes.

In terms of enemies, you can expect zombies, Dullahans, undead sheep and other threats. If a less-imposing strategy game or tower defense game sounds like your jam, CastleStorm 2 might be worth checking out. PC players can download a free demo through the Epic Games Store. Stay tuned for more details and announcements in the meantime.
