Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate Launch Trailer Released

Abandon all hope.

Posted By | On 06th, Mar. 2013

MercurySteam has released the launch trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, their latest title for the Nintendo 3DS which covers the events between Lords of Shadow 1 and 2 and reveals the fate of several Belmonts in the process.

The lucky ones this time are Trevor Belmont and Simon Belmont, the former who becomes Dracula’s son Alucard at some point and the latter who we suppose finally ends the curse of Dracula. Until Lords of Shadow 2, that is. Look out for the creepy fat guy at the end of the trailer just…watching.

There’s enough action in the trailer, ranging from the usual platforming and whipping to showcasing different character perspectives and events occurring within the game. MercurySteam estimates the experience will take 20 hours overall (if you try to find everything), and by the looks of things, it may be right.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate is currently available in North America for the 3DS.
