Check Out Quantic Dream’s Quirky New Tech Demo

David Cage shows off an uncharacteristically quirky tech demo for PS4.

Posted By | On 11th, Jun. 2013

After their ‘faces’ tech demo back in February during the PS4 console reveal, as well as because of some rather pretentious statements he has made (and because of the general tone of all of his games altogether), it is perhaps easy to see David Cage as a man who takes himself a bit too seriously, and to therefore expect the same kind of traits from his work.

It therefore came as a pleasant surprise when his tech demo to demonstrate some of the tech and capabilities of the PS4 was so gleefully funny, intelligently and subtly humorous, and so self aware. Whereas this tech demo, titled “The Dark Sorcerer,” is almost certainly not a game (nor is it intended to be one), it still served as a good demonstration of the PS4’s abilities, while also showing off a completely different side of David Cage altogether.
