Check out the launch trailer for Cloudberry Kingdom, a new Wii U exclusive eShop platformer

New platformer coming to Wii U's eShop. 'It's on the internet so it must be true!'

Posted By | On 30th, Jul. 2013

The eShop seems to be on a roll this year, with the better part of the 3DS’s library coming as small digital games , complimenting the major retail releases that it has been getting non stop as well. Unfortunately, it’s been hard to say the same about the Wii U’s eShop so far.

That may be about to change. There is a new title releasing on the Wii U’s digital storefront. Cloudberry Kingdom is a sides crolling platformer featuring randomly generated levels and some rather crude humor (which probably earns it that T rating).

The game seems to be pretty full featured, with a story mode, an arcade mode, a free play mode that lets you determine what kinds of levels will be generated for you, and a multiplayer mode to boot, which includes support for co-op play.

Cloudberry Kingdom launches soon on the Wii U. It has been published by Ubisoft. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for further coverage.
