The Farm 51 has announced that Chernobylite launches on April 21st for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. The update arrives alongside the Enhanced Edition on PC – both versions will add ray tracing to the game along with improving its “already hyper-realistic visuals.” On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, players can choose from dynamic 4K at 30 FPS or 1080p/60 FPS with Ultra Details.

The PS5 version also supports Activity Cards along with advanced vibration and the DualSense’s adaptive triggers. A physical version launches for PS5 on the same day so collectors may be interested in checking it out. Finally, all players will receive a new free content update with Blue Flames.

This adds “Memories of You”, which provides new events and collectibles centered on Tatyana and Igor, and a new weapon in the Silent Assassin Crossbow. There will also be a paid content pack alongside the free update. Four content updates are slated for 2022 along with Blue Flames so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
