Children of Morta

Dead Mage’s Children of Morta, a rogue-lite pixel game with hack and slash combat, will be releasing this September. Originally announced for Summer, this window puts it at releasing sometime before September 23rd for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the latest trailer below – pre-orders are currently live for the game.

Published by 11-bit Studios, Children of Morta sees an ancient Corruption re-emerging and spreading through the land. In response, a family of six will rise up to tackle the Corruption, even if the fight is ultimately a losing one. Six playable characters are available, each with their own unique play-styles and abilities.

Throughout each run, players will encounter different passive and active items that will confer different benefits. As you explore the world, you’ll encounter different dungeons spread across the gorgeous pixel landscape and learn more about the family in question. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
