Children of Morta

Dead Mage’s Children of Morta has been rather quiet in terms of information for the past year or so. Thankfully, it seems we’ll get our hands on it sooner than later. In a recent Steam post, Dead Mage revealed that Children of Morta would launch for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch this Summer.

Retailing for $21.99 digitally, Children of Morta will also have a physical boxed released courtesy of Merge Games. These will only be available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC (Europe and Australia) versions of the game. Pricing for each version is as follows:

  • $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 PlayStation 4 retail
  • $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 Nintendo Switch retail.
  • €24.99 / £19.99 /$AUS 39.95 PC retail

Children of Morta is a roguelite action RPG where the Bergson family bands together to battle the Corruption sweeping the land. There are six unique characters, each with their own fighting styles, backgrounds, and weapons. The world is constantly changing due to the Corruption, which ensures that locations like forests and dungeons are different in each session. Of course, you’ll have different items, both active and passive, that will also change each run.
