Chronos

Gunfire Games, known better for bringing Darksiders 2 to current gen consoles, has an intriguing third person VR title in the works for Oculus Rift with Chronos. Check out the trailer for the game below.

Part Zelda, part Dark Souls, Chronos takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where players must rescue the world by exploring a labyrinth. The catch is interesting – each time you die in the labyrinth, your character ages by a year. As you return to the labyrinth you gain more knowledge and insight into conquering it but face obstacles with your general abilities and physique, thus adding more challenge.

The trailer showcases some of the puzzles that players can expect and the overall scale of its environment. It’s out on March 28th for Oculus Rift and exclusive to the platform. What are your thoughts on the gameplay footage? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
