Remember Bandai Namco’s Code Vein, an intriguing mash-up of God Eater and Soulslike combat? It’s been a while since we’ve heard about it, especially after its delay last year. Development is still going on, and Bandai Namco announced a Network Test for the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

Starting on May 30th at 8 PM PT and ending on June 3rd at 12 AM PT, players will need to sign up on this website to participate. A code will be sent on May 29th that will allow for preloading the Network Test demo ahead of time. In terms of content, there’s multiplayer and the game’s opening chapter.

So in addition to playing the game with an AI companion, it’s possible to team up with another player and create a small party. The game has seen its share of changes since the delay, including Blood Codes that allow one to quickly respec on the fly. Code Vein is slated to release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2019.
