Whether it's the quick-draw slashes or exploding globules, this boss is absolutely relentless, even for seasoned players.

Code Vein 2

Vampires may be sun-averse, but Bandai Namco shining a light on Code Vein 2 has improved the action RPG’s optics ahead of launch. A new walkthrough highlighted the new weapon types, including the snazzy Rune Blades, and features like Assimilation, but the bosses remain the biggest spectacle. Case in point, The Blinded Resurgence Offspring, which has been revealed in a new trailer.

Don’t let the porcelain mask fool you – it wields a Great Katana with relative ease, even adopting a quick-draw pose for a blinding fast attack. Perhaps even more metal is the fact that it commits seppuku to transform and unleash globules that can explode if you get too close. Beware of its glowing spiderweb attacks as well, since they can effectively hinder your movement for a short period.

As outstanding as The Blinded Resurgence Offspring looks, we can’t wait to see how other bosses play out when Code Vein 2 launches on January 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners receive three days of early access, and those who want to play with the Character Creator before launch, a free demo goes live on January 23rd. It even lets you import these characters into the game and explore the first area.
