Code Vein

Code Vein is coming next month, and the action RPG promises a visually unique spin on the Souls-like genre that’s emerged over the years. With a heavy anime aesthetic the game takes place in a wasteland as you play a new vampiric race. You’ll also get a chance to try it out before the game actually comes out if you’re playing on consoles.

A demo was announced along with a trailer you can see below. Similar to the closed beta that was released a few months ago, you’ll be able to create your own character in the game’s rather robust character creator. You will explore an early part of the game by going into one of the first dungeons, “The Depths,” which promises to challenge players. As of now the demo is only announced for PS4 and Xbox One, the PC version is not slated to have one at this time.

Code Vein will release September 27th with the demo coming a few weeks before on the 3rd. For a massive amount of screenshots and concept art to show off the game’s style, you can also check through here.
