Code Vein is almost here, bringing its unique blend of action and hardcore anime aesthetics with Souls-like gameplay. Much like the Souls games, too, the game will feature its share of boss fights for you to overcome. We saw Successor of the Ribcage earlier in the year, a pretty fierce boss fight, and now we get another with equal degrees of intensity.
The Successor of the Claw fight is against a feline foe who has some nasty claws to rip to into you. Adding to that, he also uses a pretty long and powerful blade to compliment those claws. If that’s not enough, magma flows through its blood, meaning it can unleash fiery attacks at you at unexpected times. It looks to be a tough battle, so probably should prepare for some deaths.
Code Vein releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 27th. The PS4 and Xbox One version currently have a demo, which will see added content soon.
