Relic Entertainment’s Company of Heroes 3 is getting a multiplayer pre-alpha starting today, which allows players to try out four maps in Italy and play with two factions – US forces and the Wehrmacht – along with various battle groups. It’s currently available to pre-load on Steam and will be live from 9 AM PT onwards till December 6, 8 PM PT. Check out the trailer below for more details.
In terms of battle groups, there’s the USF Airborne and Armored groups for the Allies while the Germans get the Luftwaffe and Breakthrough group. If multiplayer isn’t your thing, then don’t worry – you can still play solo or co-op with another player against the AI. In order to access the pre-alpha, players will need to sign up for the CoH-development programme here.
Company of Heroes 3 is slated to release in late 2022 for PC. Unlike previous titles, it offers a large-scale Dynamic Campaign map similar to grand strategy titles. For more details on the game, from its environments to the destruction, head here.
