Double Stallion’s CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story received a story teaser yesterday, and now the full trailer is available. It confirms that the 2D action side-scroller will launch on May 23rd for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
The story of CONVERGENCE sees Ekko and friends fighting to protect the Zaun, their home city. However, when he receives a visit from a future Ekko, telling of a great disaster, the two must work together to prevent it. Along the way, he’ll encounter other Champions like Jinx and Camille, the former sewing destruction while the latter recognizes the alterations Ekko is making.
In addition to manipulating time and space, players will grind on rails at high speeds, fight off enemies and parkour through environments. The trailer’s end also hints at boss battles, so there should be plenty of combat challenges. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
