Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy_04

After Activision sent out a strange puzzle to publications yesterday, a rating from the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has revealed the next Crash Bandicoot. The rating is for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on Xbox One and PS4. Toys for Bob, which developed Spyro Reignited Trilogy, is working on it.

The description for the rating offers some interesting story details, namely about the mysterious new mask. It’s the Quantum Mask Lani-Loli and knows Aku-Aku (because of course it does). However, the other Quantum Masks seem to be making a return and a Quantum Rift soon materializes.

Thus do Crash and friends decide to investigate, hopping across different time periods and dimensions to solve this mystery. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time hasn’t been officially announced but given the timing of the puzzle, there should be something soon (perhaps even at the upcoming Summer Game Fest Developer Showcase). In the meantime, check out the new box art below.
