Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy_04

After years of being dormant, Crash Bandicoot saw a grand revival with the N.Sane Trilogy, a remake of the first three games that went on to sell over 10 million copies. It was then followed by another remake with Crash Team Racing. Everything about the beloved Bandicoot seems to be coming up roses, leading many to wonder just where the next game is. Well, if a new leak is any indication, it could be very soon.

A new set of merchandise leaked with new character designs not from the remakes, and also showing Tawna with a new punk rock style redesign. The lists originally came from Blackfire.eu, but have since been taken down, but as you can see below, the internet never forgets.

Now, while it could be this is just random merchandise, it’s also worth nothing that a new detailed tweet from Numbskull Games seems to hint at a new game. While it’s possible they are referring to N.Sane Trilogy, since that is photo used, they also tagged in the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and not the PC despite N.Sane being there. That and, of course, they deleted it quickly.

Sony is planned to have their PS5 event today, and even if Crash is more of a muliplatform franchise now, it has deep ties to PlayStation, so wouldn’t be too bad of a time to unveil an actual new title in the franchise. Fingers crossed we could see it soon.
