Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

The UK loves Crash Bandicoot. We already know this from how well Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy performed on the PS4 last year in the country; and now, it looks like the launch of the game on the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch has gone down similarly well in the country.

GamesIndustry.biz reports that the Switch version of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is now the fastest selling Switch game in the UK all year so far. That means it’s sold better out the gates than Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta 2, Kirby: Star Allies, Hyrule Warriors, and even Mario Tennis Aces.

Now, whether or not the game maintains this performance on the Switch going forward is what remains to be seen. To be fair, Nintendo Switch software has done extraordinarily well in the UK- Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart, and Splatoon have all become mainstays on the software chart, and it seems like Mario Tennis may as well. Maybe Crash can join that party, too.
