We already knew that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the remake of the classic PlayStation racer, did very well. But it seems that we got just a little more information to back that up, and to show that the game has some serious fans due to its roots when we look at just how many people are playing online.

The game’s online leaderboards show how many people have connected and played online since the beginning of the game’s first Grand Prix that launched on July 3rd. On the PS4, over 1 million players have connected to play online, which is pretty staggering when you think about the short time period the Grand Prix has gone on for. The other two platforms are no slouches either with the Xbox One seeing 240,000 and the Switch with just under 172,000, but you can tell where the roots of the franchise stem from.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. You can read our take on the game here.
