Crash Team Rumble

Activision has announced that Crash Team Rumble, the MOBA title developed by Toys for Bob, will release on June 20th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Pre-orders are now available and provide access to the upcoming closed beta from April 20th to 24th. Cross-play is supported, though it’s unknown whether it will be live during the beta.

The Standard Edition costs $29.99, and along with the base game, it provides access to the Premium Battle Pass for Season 1. The Deluxe Edition costs $39.99 and, along with the same content, it includes the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass, Proto Pack (which has skins and a banner), and 25 tiers in the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass.

As for the closed beta, it offers five heroes – Crash, Coco, Dr Neo Cortex, Tawna and Dingodile, each with unique abilities, play styles and roles. The Scorer collects Wumpa to deposit in the team’s bank. The Blocker defends banks, knocking out enemies. The Booster grabs Gems, which increases the amount of banked Wumpa and also activates Relic Stations for an advantage.

Toys For Bob co-studio head Paul Yan said, “We’re incredibly excited for fans to get an early hands-on with Crash Team Rumble during April’s Closed Beta. We truly value the community’s feedback and will use this input to fine-tune the game for an amazing player experience on launch day. See you in the Closed Beta!”

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
