Bloober Team took to the stage during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event to release a new trailer for its upcoming survival horror title Cronos: The New Dawn. The trailer, which you can check out below, gives us a glimpse at what kind of horror we can expect from the game as we get closer to its September 5 release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.

While horror will be at the core of Cronos: The New Dawn, the trailer this time around focuses on showcasing the core combat, and how players will be able to make use of a wide arsenal of guns and special abilities to take on the game’s disturbingly-designed enemies.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse at the different environments that players will get to explore, from dilapidated buildings, to streets that have clearly been messed up, and even some sci-fi buildings where gravity manipulation will play a vital role.

A Deluxe Edition has also been confirmed, rewarding players with extra handgun ammo, core resources, shotgun shells, and 1,500 energy, along with three cosmetic skins for the protagonist.
