LZRS-28 may have more secrets to spill, if recent teases by the sci-fi survival horror's official Twitter are any indication.

The Traveler from Cronos: The New Dawn is coming to Fortnite, but don’t worry – Bloober Team seemingly has something else in store for the sci-fi survival horror title. It began with the words, “Scanning for fault signature… Engaging pursuit protocol…” in a tweet, which also had an image of a Traveler teasing, “The loop persists.”

The second tweet said, “The mystery remains unsolved… The future holds more answers” with an eye emoji. Another image with “LZRS 28” teases that this may be connected to the mysterious door that plays a role in the game’s finale. If this is DLC, then perhaps it expands on the story.

What makes this interesting is that Bloober Team already confirmed that there are no plans for a sequel and that the developers have begun pre-production on a new title. With a respectable 500,000 copies sold as of November 2025, one would believe that Cronos goes on the shelf for the foreseeable future, even after the recent update that added Temporal Diver difficulty.

Then again, with Bloober Team announcing an expansion of its leadership structure and seven games in development, five of them under its Black Mirror Games label, perhaps another team is handling this. Time will tell, so stay tuned for further updates, which appear to be coming sooner rather than later.

Cronos: The New Dawn is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Check out our review here.
