Radical Fish Games continues to update its fantastic action RPG CrossCode, releasing update 1.0.3 for the PC version. It contains some new quests, including the conclusion to “A Promise is a Promise.” A new building will appear in Rhombus Square, and you might find a tough new encounter at the end.

The headquarters for The Last Minute Heroes guild is also open, and you can collect a quest from there. The same quest is actually available at the Cave Inn at Sapphire Ridge, but this is a good opportunity for those who missed it on the first go-around.

Other new additions include NPC dialogue from a recent contest and a new consumable dropped by Moon bugs in Sapphire Ridge, which is also available in Rookie Harbor’s Backer Store. Radical Fish is also working on the Arena for Rhombus Square, which features the long-awaited Boss Rush mode. New Game+ is also being worked on and the developer promises that “certain aspects” of the game will change on the second playthrough.

The Arena and New Game+ will be available in version 1.0.04, which is currently planned for April. CrossCode is also coming to the Nintendo Switch this year, though a release date has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
