Crysis 3 Screenshots Look Gorgeous, Showcase Weapons and Gameplay

Melt your eyes with these highly detailed screens.

Crytek has released some new screenshots from the upcoming FPS Crysis 3. We also get a single piece of artwork showcasing one of the environments the game takes place in but the main focus is on the gameplay and weapons.

And they look mind-numbingly gorgeous.

Just like the original Crysis, the attention to detail here is insane and shows off the power of CryEngine 3. Don’t ask us just what kind of system you’ll need to attain maximum detail AND a workable frame rate. But we’re sure they’ll invent it one day (too soon?).

Crysis 3 is looking to be a pretty stellar action game as well, with several key explosive moments and all out warfare erupting between human soldiers of warring nations and aliens. If nothing else, the attention to detail helps make that conflict all the more impactful.

Crysis 3 is scheduled to release on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 on February 19th in North America.
