Massive Monster’s cartoonish roguelike/action-adventure/simulation Cult of the Lamb is out today for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch along with Game Pass. In the meantime, check out the animated launch trailer below which hints at the various fates awaiting the player.
Cult of the Lamb focuses on a possessed lamb saved by a mysterious stranger. They must build a cult, recruit followers to their cause and collect resources to create structures in their village. Consisting of four regions, the world is randomly generated, and one must slay foes while taking on rival cult leaders.
A demo is currently available on Steam for players to try. Pre-ordering also nets a Cthulhu form for one’s followers. Thus far, Cult of the Lamb has garnered some strong acclaim with the PC version having an aggregate Metascore of 84 from 50 critic reviews.
