Cuphead Not Coming to PS4, Exclusive to Xbox One and PC

Mac version and possibly Linux version will be coming though.

After what seems like forever, StudioMDHR Entertainment’s Cuphead will finally be releasing. It’s been marketed as Xbox One and Windows 10 title for a while now, though it will be available for Steam users as well. But the real question is whether it will head to PlayStation 4 or not.

The answer seems to be “not”. The developer answered the exclusivity query on NeoGAF and replied, “Yes, this Cuphead game is exclusive to Xbox and PC (with Steam and Win10 versions at launch and a GoG release likely shortly after). There will likely be a Mac version down the road and possibly a Linux version beyond that (unless we lose our houses or whatever).”

For the time being though, if you’re on PlayStation 4, you won’t be able to play Cuphead. With the release on September 29th, what are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
