If you’ve been waiting for more information on CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077, especially with its release still so far off, there’s good news. IGN has announced that the FPS/RPG will be present at its upcoming Summer of Gaming event in June. Whether this means new gameplay footage, details or shocking reveals remains to be seen.

With the number of games delayed from developers shifting to work from home, CD Projekt RED has remained dedicated to its release date for Cyberpunk 2077. It did note that some voice work may have to be patched in post-launch. But as it stands, it’s still set to launch on September 17th for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia.

As for IGN’s Summer of Gaming event, it will feature collaborations with the likes of Devolver Digital, THQ Nordic, Sega, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Google Stadia, and more. So expect more announcements for reveals and appearances by high profile games (especially with E3 2020 not even having an online experience). Stay tuned for a more solid set of dates in the meantime.
