cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 20777 is coming next year, and it’s going to be a big one. I’m not just talking about the scope of the game either, but the cold hard cash it’s going to bring in for CD Projekt RED. How big will it be? Well, we obviously can’t know that until the game is out, but one major analyst is predicting it’s going to be even bigger than expected.

Bloomberg put CD Projekt RED on their list of 50 companies to watch for 2020. Within it analyst Matthew Kanterman says it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the amount of copies Cyberpunk 2077 sells would top 20 million units just in its first year alone.

That kind of number would put Cyberpunk 2077 in the big leagues of game sellers within a select group of franchises. The hype around the game certainly is powerful, and the company is all hands on deck to try and meet that April 16th, 2020 release date. We’ll have to see if the game can hit those lofty goals next year.
