Cyberpunk 2077

With the discovery last week of CD Projekt RED being one of the participating companies for E3 2018, the developer behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 has confirmed that it will indeed attend the expo. However, it didn’t offer much more information beyond that when the developer’s director of PR and global communication spoke to GameSpot.

“Yes, we’re on the list. But there is no additional comment on that from us,” the representative stated. What’s interesting is the recent interview from Mike Pondsmith, the original author of the pen-and-paper game, who said a new trailer was coming soon. This would apparently showcased “how much death” was in the game’s futuristic setting.

These statements together do not confirm the trailer being showcased to the public at E3 2018. However, CD Projekt RED could very well have a behind-closed-doors presentation for a select few. We’ve already seen it do this with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before everyone else got a better look.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It currently doesn’t have a fixed release date.
