CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 has been in developement for a long time at this point, but if there’s one thing that’s been a constant promise from the beginning is that the game is planning to be big. From the big open world to the incredible amount of things to do, the developer is working to make this one supersized game. Now we’ve got an idea of even more things the game will feature, this time about the companions.

In most of the footage shown thus far, when we’ve had a companion it’s been Jackie, a large man who will help us in the early hours. But it seems Jackie won’t be the only companion you’ll have to lean on. In a Developer Q & A aimed at Russian audiences (though most of the video is in English), Quest Designer Philipp Weber said there were actually a lot of different companions through the game that we have yet to see. Interestingly, he also said that those companions can become enemies depending on the choices you make.

Cyberpunk 2077 is still said to be on schedule to release in November of this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A Stadia version is also slated, but has since been delayed. The next episode of Night Wire is set for September 18th and is focused on the game’s original score.
